Free open-source desktop mail client for ordinary email and Italian PEC/REM. It talks IMAP, POP3, and SMTP to the mailbox you already hold at a QTSP or ordinary provider, and keeps the archive on this computer.
This app is not a qualified trust service, not a PEC operator, and not a timestamp authority. Receipts and envelopes come from the gestore; Postclient shows them.
Retention moves expired folder mail to Trash. Trash can be kept forever or purged after a number of days. Delete sends messages to Trash.
The main window opens on launch from the Windows setup. Closing the window exits the app.
Folder stores replace attached Outlook data files. Gmail and Microsoft sign-in go through Identity Hub. Per-folder retention, multi-select, and IMAP/OAuth reliability fixes.
On-device meaning search, Outlook data files as mailboxes, rules, extra UI languages, and country packs.
First packaging slice: self-contained Windows setup and Linux Flatpak. Product name is a placeholder until the public sign is registered.
