Gitea Actions

Gitea Actions is compatible with GitHub Actions YAML but runs on your Gitea instance.

Tools

gitea_actions:

  • Variables: repo_variables, org_variables
  • Runs (Gitea 1.23+): list_runs, get_run, rerun, list_tasks, dispatch
  • Secrets and runner tokens (repo_secrets, set_repo_secret, runner_token_*) only if GITEA_ENABLE_SECRETS=true

If a run endpoint 404s, the instance is older than the Actions runs API. Say so and fall back to listing workflows in the repo (.gitea/workflows or .github/workflows) via gitea_contents.

Never print secret values. Do not fetch runner registration tokens unless the user explicitly needs to register a runner and secrets mode is enabled.
