Agent instructions (maksit-lto-backup)

Maintainer-local Cursor / agent wiring. Shipped in-repo for convenience; forks do not need this setup and will not resolve the homelab skill paths — that is expected.

Complementary skills (no precedence). Homelab paths use sharedSkills in .cursor/maksit-skills.json.

For C# layout and analyzer prefs, read common/csharp SKILL.md (Style section) and apply repo-root .editorconfig when present — the repo file is authoritative when they differ.

Layout reminder: MaksIT.LTO.Core (tape/library), MaksIT.LTO.Backup.Shared (config + orchestrators), console + Avalonia MVVM UI + Worker (MaksIT.LTO.Backup.Service) hosts, MaksIT.LTO.Tests (emulator). Prefer emulator-backed tests when physical LTO gear is unavailable. Physical mode works on Windows (\\.\Tape0 / \\.\Changer0) and Linux (/dev/nst* / /dev/sg*); SMB works on both. Scheduled backups require Topology=TapeLibrary.
